Hi! My name is Jose Vallejo, founder of this site and its blog.
I am a professor with previous high ranking university positions and more than 20 years of teaching experience. My primary areas of expertise are education, curriculum design and language teaching.
I acquired an MA in TESOL and Ph.D. in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I also got a BA in Education from Universidad de Oriente, Venezuela.
I work for a large university in Venezuela, a country that has been politically devastated and professionals have lost their salaries. However, every situation, even as harsh as it may seem, will create a lot of opportunities!
