Hello everyone, and welcome back to the channel! Are you dreaming about your next holiday? I know I am!

Today, we’re going to learn how to talk about our future travel plans using a super useful phrase: “be going to”. It’s perfect for sharing your intentions and what you’re planning to do.

First, let’s look at the structure.
It’s simple: subject, plus “am,” “is,” or “are,” plus “going to,” plus a verb.

For example:
✨ “I am going to visit Paris.”
✨ “She is going to go sightseeing.”

What about you? Maybe you are going to sunbathe on a beautiful beach, or they are going to explore a new city. So, for my next holiday, I am going to travel to Japan. I am going to eat lots of ramen, and my friend is going to visit the temples with me.

We use “going to” when we have already decided to do something. It shows a plan or an intention.
